Polo Piatti
From child prodigy to international renown, Polo Piatti is one of the most important contemporary artists of his generation. Born in Buenos Aires, he had his first piano lesson at the tender age of three - and has never looked back. His meteoric rise as a teenage concert pianist and composer brought the 16 year old to Europe where he was soon celebrated as an eminent pianist, composer, music arranger and much more. Trained at distinguished academies across both continents, including the Sorbonne in Paris, Polo Piatti has gone on to compose, conduct and teach music and performing arts in Latin America, and much of mainland Europe. A lecturer in most aspects of musicology and contemporary performing arts, Polo also developed and co-founded numerous workshop projects and organizations. He set up his own music management (PPM) and publishing companies (PPM Music) succeeding in both signing artists internationally (Warner Music) as well as releasing records under his own label. Amongst esteemed posts he has held, was head of music at the world famous ‘Italia Conti Academy’ in London. World-wide acclaim has won Polo numerous awards and accolades. He has performed in front of the British Royal family and was invited to be included in the much coveted ‘International Who Is Who In Music’. Always in demand, Polo Piatti is once again composing full-time, working on numerous commissions as a composer, performer, conductor and musical director.
